Festival Day
Celebrating over 20 years of Robin in the Hood!
This year in Nottingham… Vikings return to see King Richard… a year late. They would have been on time but their ship broke down and they are in need of a new sail. The Royal campaign tent should work! But while King Richard is away, maybe they just settle in Nottingham??? We’ll settle the matter in proper medieval fashion – with a tournament! Will Prince John & Robin Hood be able to beat back the Vikings? Come find out!

Weapons
Festival rules dictate that no weapons are to be sold to anyone under 18 years of age, we encourage you to ask for identification!
- Any metal or replica weapons must be peace tied, if you are unable to do this please ask any of our volunteers and they are more than willing to assist you.
- All bows must be UNSTRUNG and no arrows can be carried.
- If the weapon comes in its own box, it would need to be sealed for safety.
- Toy, wooden, and foam weapons are okay, we encourage parents and children to use care when carrying them around due to the chance of injury.
- Please share with customers that the toy weapons may need to be peace-tied if it is determined that safety of others may be at stake.
- Please note that we have had complaints in past years of vendors selling weapons to people under 18 – ask for identification every time!
- Ensure that the purchasing patron is 18 or older, and if younger – their parent/caregiver (who is of age) is okay with the purchase.
- Everyone’s safety is our first priority.
